Presently college runs in its own premises near water filter plant on Jintur - Yeldari road, which is 04 km away from Jintur town. The nearest Railway Station is Parbhani Jn. 46 km away from Jintur & nearest Airport is Aurangabad, which is 160 km from Jintur.
During a long journey of 40 years, institute has slowly but surely changed the scenario of technical education in this rural area by transforming lives of many rural families and added in the development of society in this area while doing this institute has seen glory of success as well as has gone through tough times
Government Polytechnic Jintur is one of the pioneer diploma engineering institutes of government of Maharashtra established in 1983 which runs three courses of 3 years duration that is Mechanical, Civil and Computer engineering having each 60-student intake in all the courses. After its inception in 1983, the institute has been growing at a pace necessary for providing young and promising technicians who can work competitively, innovatively, ethically and offer services on global fronts
Today, technology is increasing at the global level and the whole world is running behind the competition, so the institute is always trying to provide the students with skills so that our students can also survive in such a competitive era. The Younger Generation must strive to develop into a well-rounded personality with excellent Technical, Managerial, Interpersonal and Communication skills poised at the cutting-edge of Technology

The Engineering Workshops consist of the Machine Shop (metal work), the Fitting Shop, the Foundry, the Smithy, the Welding shop, the Carpentry Shop and the Motor Vehicle Repair Unit and Service Facility.
